About the role
We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor with expertise in national defense for a 12+ month contract, with the possibility of renewal.
MANDATE
- Identify and classify sensitive defense-related data according to its level of criticality and intended use.
- Map risks associated with the handling, storage, and sharing of sensitive information.
- Analyze potential threats targeting the company, including risks of cyberattacks and industrial espionage.
- Recommend enhancements to existing technical, organizational, and human security controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and proportional data collection practices.
PROFILE
- 5+ years of experience in security governance within the defense sector
- Strong background in sensitive data management and regulatory compliance
- Ability to communicate and clearly explain complex security and technology issues
- Expertise in defense-related frameworks, laws, and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Bilingual (French and English)
