We are seeking a detailed-oriented and results-driven International Coordinator to support and manage the end-to-end international process within a regulated cannabis environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction while supporting the company’s global expansion objectives.
The successful candidate will act as the primary operational point of contact for international customers and coordinate cross-functional execution across Sales, Production, Quality, Manufacturing and Logistics.
This position demands a strong balance of leadership, customer service skills, communication, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for running customer meetings, coordination of internal operations and global logistics.
This position is based out of Stayner, Ontario
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinate international orders from order receipt through final delivery to ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
- Plan, book and coordinate accurate international cannabis shipments with carriers and brokers
- Oversee and ensure accuracy of all inbound and outbound international shipments using ERP (SAP).
- Lead cross-functional coordination with sales, production, quality and manufacturing to ensure order accuracy to meet the customers requirements.
- Serve as primary contact for international customers.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability aligns with customer demands and supports timely order fulfilment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, import/export laws, and company policies.
- Stay up to date on international customer agreements and Quality agreements.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all logistics transactions and documentation, ensuring compliance with Cannabis Regulations and company policies.
- Create and maintain SOPs, SAP functions, and cannabis compliance standards. Maintain audit-ready training records.
- Track and report key KPI’s and vendor performance metrics.
- Participate in and support internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
- Support month end close activities.
- Assist the Manager with daily operational tasks and special projects as required.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required.
You’ll need to have:
- Highly detail-oriented individual with a self-starter personality
- 3-4 years of experience working in a Logistics or Supply Chain related field
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field is an asset.
- Proficient with SAP or similar ERP systems; advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills required.
- Strong understanding of Logistics standards, ERP workflows, import/ export regulations and regulatory requirements under the Cannabis Act.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Must be able to pass a clear Criminal Record Check.
Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 (Stayner, Ontario*) per year
The actual compensation offered will be based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, applicable market data, internal equity, and business needs, and may vary within the stated range. This role may be eligible for bonus, incentive compensation, or other variable pay in accordance with applicable company plans.
