Our client who is a reputable General Contractor across Canada is looking to add a talented Quality Supervisor to join their team in Vancouver.

About The Position Develops and implements the Project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in alignment with project specifications. Actively plans, coordinates, and participates in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) task planning activities alongside construction operations. Reviews prime contract and subcontract details for specifications and requirements, identifies quality requirements, and ensures quality activities align with project scope and contractual terms and conditions. Liaises with clients' field QA/QC representatives, third-party testing agencies, and trade contractor quality personnel to maintain quality standards throughout the project. Performs visual examinations, witnesses inspections and testing, monitors construction activities, and documents results in accordance with project specifications and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Ensures suppliers and vendors adhere to project specifications, including verification of delivered materials. Acts as a liaison with craft and staff personnel and the Quality Manager to provide technical assistance and guidance as required. Identifies and determines root causes associated with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and presents findings to the quality and project teams. Collects and compiles quality turnover documentation to support project closeout. Leads meetings with the quality team as required. The Requirements 3+ years proven experience in quality control and/or the construction industry, including supervisory and leadership experience preferred. Craftsperson certificate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Excellent construction inspection skills on a broad range of scopes of work Advanced skills with quality computer applications and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
