About the role
Duration: 5 Months (Extension/ Conversion)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Core Business Hours – 37.5 Hours per Week (7.5 Hours per Day)
Job Description: - Our client is seeking a highly experienced QA Tester to support testing activities for new builds, enhancements, and system changes.
- The role involves developing and executing test scenarios for functional, system integration, and user acceptance testing across multiple platforms.
- The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables within tight timelines and complex environments.
Responsibilities: - Develop and execute test scenarios for functional, system integration, and acceptance testing.
- Design, create, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Execute manual and automated testing activities to validate application quality.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reporting and recommendations.
- Define testing criteria and ensure deliverables meet documented goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Participate in knowledge transfer, onboarding activities, and team collaboration sessions.
- Support testing for enhancements, new application builds, and ongoing system improvements.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight delivery timelines.
Experience: - Upto 5 years of experience as a QA Tester/Test Analyst.
- Must have experience with software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Must have knowledge of programming methodologies and concepts (Java, C++, or similar technologies).
- Must have knowledge of Windows and Microsoft platforms and related concepts.
- Must have working knowledge of server administration and version control software (e.g., PVCS).
- Must have working to expert-level experience with testing tools such as WinRunner, Mercury QuickTest, and Mercury testing solutions.
- Experience working in enterprise-level environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability.
