As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting licenced AME’s with aircraft repairs as directed, taking part in regular inspections, and carrying out assigned tasks.

What you will bring to Novajet
- Post-secondary education with an Aviation emphasis is preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Clear criminal background check
- Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, structural repairs, modifications, and installations under supervision of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer as designated by the Production Manager, PRM, or QAM in compliance with the Maintenance Policy Manual and appropriate manufacturer maintenance manuals.
- Complete work sheets and work cards for work accomplished.
- Work closely with all team members to ensure effective teamwork.
- Complete administrative responsibilities neatly, accurately and on time.
- Ensure that after maintenance has been completed the cabin is configured properly and ready for service, neat and properly organized, clean/sanitized and of a high level of quality for accepting passengers.
- Participate in the safety management system (SMS).
- Understand and fulfill responsibilities with respect to appropriate sections of the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS).
- Identify, report, and manage any actual or potential risks linked to fatigue.
- Use scheduled time away from work to obtain an amount of sleep sufficient to minimize the risks of fatigue-related accidents and injuries.
- Ensure that company directed administrative responsibilities have been carried out.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Production Manager.
- Maintain training currency and proficiency as required by regulation and the company.

· Job Types: Full-time (4x10hr), Permanent, with rotational on call weekends
