YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

• Actively participate in the organization, representation and delivery of AEM in various types of community meetings/events (family day, community events, hamlet meetings, consultation meetings, Mining awareness programs, follow-up on donation etc.);

• Ensure community members have access to different kinds of information regarding AEM operations;

• Provide Agnico Eagle with relevant community feedback and/or information such as issues, challenges, complaints that may arise and/or any relevant information related to the community;

• Support the Sanajiksanut recruitment team in the hiring process by guiding jobseekers towards the appropriate resources.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• High School Degree or equivalent;

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role;

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;

• Comfortable interacting with community members by phone or in person;

• Demonstrates autonomy and resourcefulness;

• Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (Oral and written), and knowledge (speaking and writing) of Inuktitut is an asset;

• The candidate needs to have a driver’s license;

• The candidate needs to have good computer skills, and knowing the Microsoft 365 Suite is an asset;

• Being a social person is required.
