Installation Lead Hand Foreman Position
Stubbe’s is a family owned and operated company that has been in business for over 40 years.
Stubbe’s started as a small precast company servicing the agricultural market, evolving over the past 40 years to a diversified company that provides a wide range of concrete (related) products and services.
The Working Foreman is responsible for organizing and directing the precast installation crew, typically consisting of 6–8 installers. This role coordinates and schedules crew activities, ensures installation work is performed safely and efficiently, and maintains quality standards. The Foreman works closely with the Site Superintendent to schedule deliveries, plan daily tasks, and resolve on-site challenges. This position serves as the hands-on leader of the crew, balancing both supervision and active participation in installation work.
Adequate training will be provided for candidates who may not have prior experience. We hire based on character, work ethic and willingness to learn- not just skills.
THE DAY TO DAY
- Organize installation teams, allocating jobs accordingly
- Main contact for all delays in installation, e.g., weather and emergencies
- Ensure all wall hardware is available on site
- Confirm that all installation teams are cross trained as required
- Ensure all construction drawings and details are accurately followed
- Assist in making sure wall grout is placed in the hopper and the water supply is filled
- Check door openings and elevator openings for accuracy
- Assist with installation
