About the role
Now, if you were to come on board as an Assistant Lounge Manager, we’d ask you
to do the following for us:
- Manage the daily operations of the Air Canada lounges.
- Coordinate staff schedules within the unit to ensure adequate coverage to meet expectations.
- Manage costs in order to stay within the unit’s budget.
- Respond to requests, resolve complaints, and address customer concerns.
- Monitor the unit’s compliance with quality assurance and health and safety policies, and implement any necessary corrective measures.
- Manage, coach, and develop unit staff to achieve unit and team objectives.

- Relevant experience of 3 years in the food service or hospitality industry.
- Experience in management, supervision, coaching, and staff development.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both French and English. Proficiency in English is required to communicate daily with head office, partners, assigned suppliers at a national level, as well as sponsors.
