About the role
Opportunity
We are currently in search of an Assembly Lead Hand for the DAYS Shift. Reporting to our DAYS Assembly Supervisor, the Assembly Lead hand is responsible for assisting with training to ensure that our team is producing high quality products while meeting production targets in a safe manner.
Key objectives include:
- Assist with creating and reviewing SOP’s & OPL’s
- Assist with training applicable SOP’s & OPL’s with both seasoned and new staff with emphasis on
the Safety & Quality steps.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Observe that processes are being followed and the employees understand them.
- Obtain sign off on the SOP’s from the employee.
- Assist in a variety of responsibilities as directed from the supervisor.
- Observe flow and identify potential bottlenecks while taking action to avoid the bottlenecks to
maximize flow.
You have:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
- Strong Organization and time management skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Proven experience with Superior Cabinets’ products, operations and programs.
- Commitment to ensuring each kitchen meets quality standards and overall customer satisfaction
targets.
- Technical ability to use Outlook, Excel, Word and mobile phone for the collection of pictures for
quality improvements.
