Description The Toronto Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI) and the Department of Medical Imaging at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto invite applications for a full-time Diagnostic Neuroradiologist position. The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical appointment at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor at the University of Toronto. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2026, or as mutually agreed.

JDMI comprises the University Health Network (Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre), Sinai Health, and Women's College Hospital. JDMI provides state-of-the-art imaging infrastructure, including 17 CT and 14 MR scanners (including research scanners, 3T PRISMA, low-field MR, PET-MR) equipped with the latest technology. The Division of Neuroradiology has a rich tradition of translational research in neurovascular imaging, functional imaging, and imaging of cerebrospinal fluid disorders, and recent growth in advanced neuroimaging for oncology and neurodegenerative disease, and MR-guided focused ultrasound therapy.

The successful candidate will show clinical excellence and professional integrity. The is an ideal position for an academic clinician who values collaboration within a collegial, patient-centred team. Successful applicants will join a department committed to outstanding clinical care, education, and academic achievement. The JDMI Division of Neuroradiology includes 18 academic neuroradiologists and 9 fellows supporting one North America’s largest centres for clinical care and research in neurological disease. Our hospitals include 3 emergency departments, a comprehensive stroke centre, and leading programs in neurovascular disease, neuro-oncology, functional neurosurgery, epilepsy, movement disorders, neurodegeneration, skull base disease, and spinal disorders. The Division is affiliated with the Krembil Brain Institute for research and the Techna hub for software and device development, and is located near the Vector Institute for Al research and the University of Toronto’s main campus. The position provides an excellent opportunity for professional development, collaborative and individual research. The academic position description will be assigned based on the candidate’s teaching or research strengths

Candidates must hold an MD degree or equivalent, must hold certification in Radiology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent by the start date, and must be licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

Candidates should have a minimum of one year of neuroradiology fellowship training (and ideally two years) at the start date. The successful candidate must be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto with a rank commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Compensation will be in accordance with the uniform average salary of a Radiologist (in the range of $300,000 - $450,000) in the Province of Ontario. Details pertaining to compensation for out-of-hours work to be discussed individually.
