About us:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing maintenance and repair of our pallet manufacturing equipment and facility. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on heavy equipment experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

What you will do:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on pallet manufacturing equipment and heavy machinery

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues

• Maintain and repair forklifts, loaders, saws, conveyors, and other production equipment

• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment safety

• Complete maintenance logs and work orders accurately

• Coordinate with production team to minimize downtime and maintain workflow

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies

• Assist Maintenance staff with general facility maintenance as required

What you require:

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment

• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with heavy equipment (forklifts, loaders, or similar machinery)

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatic systems

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one
