We are looking for an intermediate proposal specialist who is searching for their next professional challenge. By combining your stellar writing, communication, and project management skills with your ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, you will complete winning proposals that support the growth of the business. The Proposal Specialist uses their expertise to manage the pursuit process from start to finish, including leading start-up meetings, developing winning pursuit strategies with the technical team, and editing and designing a superb final product for submission. Your role includes supporting the senior proposal specialist or leading your own proposals for our Buildings, Civil and Energy & Carbon Solutions teams, focusing on BD pursuits that align with the portfolio and skill sets of the team. You will have opportunity to collaborate with other exceptional service/sector specialists and technical leaders as part of a team that thrives on pursuit of success.

What You Will Do
- You’ll be fully immersed in all aspects of the proposal process including reviewing request for proposal (RFPs) documents, leading strategy meetings, and working closely with internal design and technical leaders and experts to prepare, write and edit proposal responses including methodology, approach, and schedules.
- Prepare proposals that will pique the reader’s interest through strong content complemented by your excellent graphic skills creating a visually compelling document.
- Review final proposal documents for compliance and submit them to clients on deadline.
- Provide quality assurance checks for proposals and marketing materials created by team members.
- Create presentations to support our pursuit team during the project interview process.
- Provide marketing guidance to the sales team in their pursuit of new business and strategic pursuits and coordinate with the Marcom team in execution.
- Maintain and update project descriptions, CVs and bios for technical staff.
- Coordinate with other specialists as part of a team on a specific pursuit or just engage in learning across the organization to achieve our collective success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal development or related field, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign is considered a strong asset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges with creativity and resourcefulness.
- Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies is advantageous.
