The Library Assistant greets library patrons, registers their memberships, enters their document loans, processes their returns, shelves documents and performs other relevant tasks.
Qualifications required
Profile
- Secondary school diploma (or the equivalent as recognized by the Department of Education of Quebec);
- Ability to work with the public and on a variable schedule: day, evening, weekend;
- Bilingualism French and English;
- Computer skills.
Employment status
Schedule (subject to change)
Position – 24 hours / week

Saturday from 10:30am to 15:30pm

Monday from 1pm to 9pm

Tuesday from 9am to 2pm

Friday from 10am to 6pm

As per the collective agreement, the 2025 hourly salary is from $21.13 to $29.10
