About the role

Schedule orders at Asitrade, resolving issues by optimizing corrugator and paper efficiency while coordinating solutions to meet customer due dates.

Monitor and manage roll stock inventory to ensure adequate supply.

Procure liner and medium grades as needed, utilizing BMI software to source material from outside suppliers and Atlantic Mills.

Print and distribute job tickets to all first-operation machines; monitor and adjust production line-ups to meet customer requirements while maximizing corrugator efficiency and maintaining proper work-in-process flow.

Schedule production orders for converting presses; monitor and adjust schedules to align with shipping timelines and customer requirements, while following scheduling guidelines to maximize press efficiency.

Communicate shipping priorities with the Shipping Department and production supervisors to ensure customer due dates and delivery times are achieved.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies by gathering and analyzing production data.

Adjust production schedules in response to changes in order dates, quantities, cancellations, or special shipping requirements.

Calculate and report total daily and weekly production quantities; participate in weekly capacity planning processes.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following health, safety, and housekeeping standards, and by using personal protective equipment.

Support overall team performance by contributing to related results and performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Corrugated experience is an Asset.

Management, Production Scheduling or related experience
-
MS Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook
-
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
-
Strong attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced supply chain-environment

Team player able to balance multiple priorities and make tough decisions
