About the role
Paralucent Marketing is in pursuit of an accomplished Director of Agency Operations to manage the day-to-day operations of our dynamic, boutique, and multiple-award-winning marketing agency. This role is for a seasoned executive ready to lead a small but ambitious team to produce projects and campaigns that drive impact. An Operations Director, or Director of Operations, is responsible for managing an organization’s day-to-day operations. Their main duties include developing and implementing operational plans to follow the company strategy, overseeing business processes such as production and finance, and analyzing operational efficiency.
As the Director of Agency Operations, you will:
Team Leadership: Liase with the Account Managers and Project Managers to assign tasks to our team members, ensuring efficiency and cohesion in all operations and project executions.
Business Operations: Oversee our bookkeeping, finance, accounting, and legal tasks in collaboration with our external vendors.
Project Management: Oversee project timelines, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and facilitate collaboration between teams.
Resource & Staffing Management: Manage staffing, resource allocation, and workflow distribution, ensuring proper workload distribution and providing mentorship and training.
Financial Oversight: Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, implement financial procedures, and monitor operational KPIs to ensure financial health.
Creative Workflow Management: Develop, manage, and optimize internal systems and SOPs to ensure a seamless creative process that aligns with project goals.
Project Oversight: Actively oversee and guide the planning and execution of client projects, ensuring that budgets, timelines, and resources are effectively managed.
Business Development Support: Aid in expanding the business by participating in the creation of project scopes and engaging with prospective clients to secure new opportunities.
HR & Talent Management: Oversee the HR functions, including payroll and recruitment, to build and sustain a robust team capable of delivering top-tier creative solutions.
- At least 5 years leading operations for a top-tier marketing or creative agency.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- A composed nature suited to dynamic agency life.
- Exemplary writing and verbal skills, essential for client interactions and team management.
- A proven track record in managing marketing and creative teams.
- A robust understanding of the marketing and creative fields, ready to take the lead in such discussions.
