Band 11 (Minimum- $92,139.00 , Control Point- $122,852.00, Maximum- $135,137.00). Placement within a salary band is typically up to Control Point based on skills, experience and internal equity. May place over Control Point in limited circumstances.
The Opportunity
The Manager, Accounting Information & Self-Funded Activities is responsible for the overall financial and enrolment information for self-funded activities. The Manager Accounting Information & Self-Funded Activities plans, develops, implements, administers, maintains and evaluates budgeting, financial, enrolment and training systems required to support self-funded areas. This includes providing leadership, direction and advice to administrators, faculty and staff.

WHAT IT TAKES
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Completion of a recognized professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, CPA);
- A university degree from a recognized institution;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a managerial position of a similar capacity;
- Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience required in a unionized environment, preferably in a public sector entity.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Demonstrated management experience at a mid to senior level in a large business or post-secondary educational setting including experience in supervision and administrative management;

Additional Information
Regular hours of work are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional travel between Douglas College’s locations as required.
