##Summary
We are recruiting an SAP full stack ABAP / Fiori Developer to design and deliver end-to-end solutions in SAP S/4HANA. Based in Calgary, reporting to the Business Systems manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting projects and initiatives to completion that will support corporate goals and objectives. The successful candidate will develop solutions with local and remote teams, internal and external resources. This role spans backend ABAP development, CDS modeling, OData services, and Fiori / UI5 applications.
##Role and Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement end-to-end SAP solutions.
- Develop clean, modular, testable, object-oriented ABAP using modern 7.4+ syntax.
- Design and implement new solutions using SAP’s latest emerging technologies including Fiori and SAPUI5
- Demonstrate UI/UX design best practices
- Follow strict coding, naming, documentation, and change log standards
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
- Support testing, QA validation, and Production deployments
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize time with minimal oversight
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
##Qualifications and Skills

Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.

5+ years of SAP S/4HANA ABAP development experience.

2+ years SAPUI5/Fiori development.
-
Track record of delivering complete S/4HANA business solutions, owning the technical design and development across backend, integration, and UI layers.

Knowledge of core SAP ABAP programming tools including Transaction and Report creations, CDS views, BAdI enhancements, SmartForms, User Exits, ALV Reports, Screen Painter BDC, Data Dictionary, ABAP Query, BAPI, ALE, IDOCS

Strong understanding of SAP ABAP and CDS Security concepts and methodologies

Strong debugging skills in ABAP

Programming experience with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery, and/or JSON.

Understanding of XML concepts.

Familiarity with SAP UI technologies; SAP UI5, client-side HTML5 and JavaScript-based rendering library and programming mode.

Experience with OData service development.

Development experience implementing REST or SOAP web services within the UI

Experience working in structured SAP transport and change environments.

Preference may be given to applicants who also possess experience in:

- Working knowledge of SAP BASIS (landscape, transports, performance), ABAP standards and extensibility, and integration technologies (IDocs, APIs, OData, CPI, BTP).
- Strong functional SAP expertise with the ability to guide technical design.
- Experience with SAP Fiori architecture/UX and familiarity with SAP BTP and cloud solutions.
- Understanding of SAP workflow, SAP Enterprise Portal, and the SAP Fiori Launchpad is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities
