What will you do:
- In SAP ERP (Plant Maintenance), Process goods receiving and material movement transactions
- Create Work Orders and Internal Notifications for programs within the section. Create digital media content and maintain the Section Google site as per Branch and Section procedures
- Work with Corporate Risk, Insurance and area inspectors to process citizen and police claims
- Support other Administrative Clerks to process Councillor Inquiries in POSSE
- Enter data into the safety data management system (SDMS) and generating reports, updating safety boards
- Process employee Prescription Eyewear requests
- Support Program Supervisors with Onboarding and Offboarding of temporary employees
- Document management for section Standard Operating Procedures, Hazard Assessments and the APEGA Authentication Catalogue
- Support district yard material ordering as needed
- Process stationery and inventory supply requests, monitor inventory and distribute as needed
- Perform other related duties as required, including but not limited to data entry, meeting coordination, meeting minutes, and back up duties for other Administrative Clerks in the section
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, including business subjects with an emphasis on general office practices, or completion of an office administration certificate (equivalencies may be considered)
- 2 years’ progressively responsible administrative experience
Skills required for success:
- Strong knowledge of software and databases including SAP ERP/Plant Maintenance, SAP ARIBA, SDMS, POSSE, Google Suite
- Demonstrated diversified experience in, data entry, database administration, procedure creation, document management and customer service experience
- Knowledge of and experience performing goods receivable and/or purchasing duties
- Excellent skills with grammar, punctuation, and spelling, with a high level of accuracy, ensuring documents conform to City of Edmonton formats
- Ability to make independent decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Proven ability to effectively handle sensitive information using discretion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a focus on balancing competing requirements within the various units and ensuring service is delivered accordingly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing priorities

Work Environment:
- Note: This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work from both home and the worksite as per the Letter of Understanding between the City of Edmonton and Civic Service Union 52
- The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time. Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance
