CRA's National Employment Equity (EE) Staffing Strategy strives to eliminate gaps for the four EE designated groups: Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, members of visible minorities, and women. Where an EE gap exists at the time of appointment, EE may be used as an appointment criterion for permanent and temporary appointments over six months made through this process.
Employees are required to work on-site at the Jonquiere Tax Centre a minimum of three days per week. Some job opportunities require an on-site presence 5 days a week.
The contracts offered will be for temporary positions with a duration of less than 6 months .
In order to minimize work interruptions during the Jonquière Tax Centre's recurring and fluctuating peak periods, once you have accepted a temporary job offer from this pool, you may no longer be eligible for other employment opportunities from this staffing process for the duration of your contract.
PURPOSE OF THE PROCESS When you apply to this staffing process, you are not applying for a specific position, but for a pool of candidates to fill various SP-03 positions.

Here is an overview of the main functions, but not limited to:
- Receive, review and analyze information returns, inquiries and reports in order to take corrective action to resolve identified issues, including updating accounts or statements.
- Respond to inquiries from filers regarding the submission and processing of information returns, verifying returns to be processed, contacting taxpayers by telephone or in writing for additional information, and correcting or amending returns accordingly.
Language requirements: Various language requirements (Essential French, Bilingual imperative BBB/BBB)*.
The majority of job opportunities are for imperative bilingual BBB/BBB appointments.
The bilingual imperative BBB level is considered the intermediate level at the ARC, where an agent is expected to be able to engage in simple conversations, understand a short text, or gather information over the phone in their second official language.

Who can apply? People who live in the city of Saguenay and surrounding areas and who can get to the Jonquiere Tax Centre (TC).
Preference for appointment will be given to veterans, Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
Please note that this process will be used to staff positions in Jonquiere only. If you are a candidate from the general public, you will have to pay for any expenses related to your participation in this staffing process, as well as any relocation costs if you receive an offer of employment from this process.
Qualified members and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces who receive an offer of employment are not entitled to relocation costs from the CRA. They may, however, be entitled to a final relocation from the Department of National Defence.

- If you are a former CRA employee and your most recent period of employment with the CRA ended under one of the following circumstances, a case-by-case review will be conducted to determine whether the reasons for your termination affect your ability to meet the staffing requirements for the positions to be staffed as part of this staffing process :
- Rejection on probation;
- Termination of employment for incompetence;
- Termination of employment for misconduct
