Position Title:
Project Lead
Reports To: Manager II, Central Operations
I. Scope & Summary of Primary Responsibilities
The Project Lead will provide leadership and coordination to support the successful delivery of the Come to Work program and related projects in the province. Under the guidance of the Manager II, Operations, and by liaising with various functions across the organization, the Project Lead will ensure operational excellence, knowledge accumulation and mobilization; as well as assisting funder stewardship and exploring and securing ongoing funding opportunities for the program.
II. Essential Functions
- Monitoring the status to ensure successful programming and project execution in the province.
- Identifying risks and planning and implementing mitigation measures.
- Serving as the central point of contact to promote transparency and open communication amongst the team.
- Tracking and monitoring the targets, key performance indicators and timeline for performance and budget.
- Preparing proposals, reports, and briefing notes.
- Capturing data and back-up documentation and monitoring the information is entered correctly into appropriate CRM, portals and databases as required.
- Gathering testimonials, photos, and other materials that highlight the impact of the program and related projects.
- Coordinating the capture of program-related costs and back-up documentation.
- Assisting in researching, identifying and applying for funding opportunities for the program In collaboration with the Philanthropy team.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement and stewardship with community partners.
- Maintaining active communication with various functions across the organization.
- Participating in special projects and events as required.
III. Qualifications
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Exceptional project management skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail with accuracy.
- Ability to quickly absorb and translate information into actionable insights.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management software, Salesforce, is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
Experience and Education
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or management.
- Experience in the non-profit or public sector an asset.
- Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss as an asset.
Work Environment

Hybrid work environment; required to work in the office weekly.

Moderate travel may be required within the province.
