Gastops’ products and services add value throughout the life cycle of complex critical equipment from the design stage through to in-service operations and support. We design, manufacture, and support advanced equipment sensing and analysis products, including online oil debris sensors, turbine blade health sensors, and portable oil debris analysis systems.

Based in Ottawa, Ontario, the Order Management Specialist will report to the Manager, Supply Chain Management and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on the management and processing of orders within our Production team.

What You’ll Do:

The Order Management Specialist will be part of our Production team with the primary focus of processing orders within our Production team. You will:

  • Review orders for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to order acceptance policies
  • Process orders in compliance with company policies
  • Responsible for daily/monthly audits of all order reports
  • Liaison with Shipping/Receiving to ensure all orders are shipped on time and have accurate shipment tracking details
  • Management of order scheduling updates to ensure all stakeholders are aware of any changes to shipment dates
  • Share best practices with team members to increase the quality, efficiency of support and knowledge base of company policies and practices
  • Creates strong relationships with various stakeholders across the organization (ex. Contracts Management and Accounting)
  • Produce department reports in a timely manner
  • Organize and maintain departmental records
  • Other tasks as assigned

What You Should Bring:

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in the field of Order Management or a related role, preferably in a technology manufacturing environment. Additionally, you should have:

  • High motivation with results-oriented focus
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
  • A related College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree may be considered an asset
  • Possess strong level of expertise in FileMaker application
  • Eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (NATO Level Clearance)
