Job Description
As a Server, you are responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable dining experience through genuine hospitality and knowledgeable service. You will provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your section and the restaurant as a whole.

Servers will be expected to complete job duties as requested in a prompt and organized fashion, abiding by the standard checklist and quality specifications as provided by the Restaurant Manager or Floor Manager.

Serve sections according to assignment

Open/ close the restaurant in accordance with opening/ closing procedures
-
Have an excellent understanding of the POS system, its tools & our ordering policies; enter all orders ensuring accuracy
-
Work as an indispensable member of a team; challenging supporting fellow teammates
-
Have a working knowledge of the food, wine & cheese program
-
Attend all product training and seminars (as required)
-
Be prompt, on the floor and prepared to work at scheduled start time
-
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
-
Adhere to all core standards and always follow Steps of Service as listed in the Server Training Manual

Put yourself in a position to exceed our guests expectations by creating memorable experiences
-
Be familiar with and agree to company cash handling procedures
-
Educate and guide guests through menu items and encourage different wine and food pairings to promote the ultimate dining experience

Perform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by Manager

Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement

Qualifications

Prior knowledge and interest in Italian food and wine
-
Preferred 2-3 years experience serving in a similar setting
-
Smart Serve certification required
-
Basic knowledge and understanding of wines, spirits and all alcoholic beverages
-
Ability to work efficiently and consistently in a fast paced environment
-
Proven ability to lead a team, be a motivational team player
-
Have the ability to carry a weight/ physical workload of up to 40lbs
-
Be able to work in standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

Work in a standing position for long periods of time

Excellent problem solving and customer service skills

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
