- Minimum 5 years of tech/startup or digital product agency experience, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience maintaining a reusable component library and implementing details in code
- Excellent understanding of frontend development (HTML, CSS, JS, React)
- Excellent visual design skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and domains
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a Product Designer, Design Systems to join our product team at a pivotal moment in our company’s growth. In this role, you’ll help design and engineering teams build consistent, high-quality experiences across all products and platforms
- You’ll own and evolve our design system across design tools, front-end libraries, infrastructure, and documentation, and contribute to internal tooling that will enable us to ship products and features faster
- Build, evolve, and maintain a scalable design system across Clutch’s web and iOS products
- Work closely with design lead and developers to support design-to-code workflows
- Collaborate with marketing team to incorporate our brand identity into the design system
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation, usage guidelines, and examples
- Influence design system roadmap and long-term scalability
- Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tooling improvements
