We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Specialist with strong expertise in VoIP technologies and a solid background in Contact Center environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, and support of our enterprise communication systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge within the technical area of telecommunications both hardware and software.
  • Manage and maintain VoIP platforms, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Support and enhance Contact Center technologies such as IVR, ACD, call routing, and CRM integrations.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and deploy communication solutions that improve customer engagement and agent performance.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and vendor coordination for telecom infrastructure.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and performance for telecommunication systems.
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for escalated telecom-related incidents and service requests.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and best practices for Contact Center and VoIP usage.
  • On-Call and overtime may be required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Contact Center environment.
  • Proven hands-on experience with VoIP systems (e.g., Avaya, Genesys, Five9, Ring Central or similar platforms).
  • Strong understanding of SIP, PBX, SBCs, VoIP protocols.
  • Knowledge of workforce management, call flow design, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or RingCentral).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work model with on-site presence at the Montreal office as needed.
  • Occasional travel to customers offices for deployment and support.
