We are currently seeking a highly motivated Systems Administrator to provide Level 2 Technical Support to our customer using a suite of tools designed to provide seamless onsite and remote support experience for the end users.

What you will do

  • Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated service desk tickets, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and user account administration.
  • Lead and support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring systems access and security compliance
  • Install, configure, patch, and upgrade operating systems, applications, and system components
  • Configure and maintain servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Implement and monitor network security measures, including firewalls and endpoint protection.
  • Perform advanced system checks, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaborate with senior administrators on infrastructure projects and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices.

We would love to hear from you if you have

  • A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Experience supporting virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of hardware components, servers and peripherals
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, access controls, and system hardening
  • Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Experience with Desktop Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment
  • Strong attention to detail
