General Manager & Master Framer, Calgary, AB
Our MasterFRAME division specializes in recruitment and training of our framing force for Jayman BUILT. We build approximately 1,000 homes per year in the province split between Edmonton and Calgary. We are seeking a General Manager to lead and manage the framing of houses by our contract and in-house framing companies.

Salary range: $100,000 - $115,000

Bonus potential of up to an additional 20% compensation available paid out monthly and annually.
What you will bring to the table:

Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter with 7 – 10 years framing experience, with experience leading one or more crews at a time.

You can recruit, mentor, and assist in the training and maintenance of sufficient contract and MasterFrame crews to ensure all Jayman homes are completed on time.

Hands on training and mentoring experience.

Capability to read blueprints, explain the details, and provide direction to complete as per the plans.

Ability to do material take-offs is a strong asset.

Oversee the MasterFRAME equipment leasing

Ability to liaise with city inspectors and Jayman superintendents

Safety is a key aspect of your role as you verify framing crews’ completion of hazard assessments, conduct tool-box meetings, and ensure safe work practices are in place for all sites. Any safety training designations are an asset.

You'll communicate with CHBA, PHBI, SAIT/NAIT & Jayman management to champion the development of training programs for the framing trade.
