Why this role is important?
We are hiring an Analyst, Quality & Outcome - Co-op Student. Reporting to the Senior Director, Quality & Outcomes, the Analyst will play an important role in driving continuous quality improvement as we advance in-pharmacy and digitally enabled healthcare solutions.
The Analyst will support teams driving implementation of our Enterprise Quality Framework and three-year Healthcare Quality Strategy through research, analysis, evaluation, and communication.
What You’ll Do
Champion our Enterprise Quality Framework
Conduct research to expand our evidence base by reviewing quality standards, clinical guidelines, and new literature Support the development of quality improvement and risk management projects from concept to implementation Perform data analysis using hypothesis-driven approaches to uncover compelling and actionable insights from clinical and administrative data Assist in data management helping build robust datasets and ensuring a high standard of data quality Help prepare reports and presentations for various audiences, including updates for enterprise governance bodies overseeing quality, risk, and clinical AI Support project coordination by coordinating deliverables, engaging stakeholders, and resolving issues as they arise
What You’ll Need
Strong foundational knowledge of the Canadian healthcare sector, particularly primary care Demonstrated experience in research and analysis projects (academic and/or professional) Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to contribute to technical reports, research papers, and executive-level presentations Proficiency with data analysis tools; experience with Excel is required. Familiarity with SQL, R, or Python is a strong asset. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively, build relationships, and influence Demonstrated interest in digital health innovation and AI
Education
Currently enrolled in an advanced degree program (Master's or PhD) in Health Sciences, Public Health, Health Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field.
