About the role

1.Main Responsibilities Track all items in hospital account to ensure total quality assurance standards are met. Manually track on sheet any discarded items.Monitor the quality of work and report weekly findings.Load washing machine with the specialty items and press the appropriate button per load and once the cycle is finished pull out the linen into a tub and then load it into the dryer and select the appropriate cycle per linenNever reach into any machine while it is still spinningSeparate the items per location and place them into the proper bins, if you are not sure of the label location ask your supervisorClean out the dryer lint screen at the start of shift, and after every loadPerform any other assigned tasks that the supervisor requires. 2. Secondary Responsibilities Wears correct P.P.E. for work area (mandatory hairnet, respiratory mask (when treating), rubber gloves).Performs area safety check and area organization (trip hazards or unsafe or faulty equipment).Reports unsafe work practices (i.e. dangerous work habits).Responsible for performing work in a safe manner by following safety rules, regulations and emergency evacuation procedure.
