Supervisor, Fund Accounting – Real Assets 📍 Toronto, ON | Permanent | Hybrid 💰 CAD $85,000–103,000 + Benefits
We're partnering with a leading global alternatives services firm to hire a Supervisor, Fund Accounting within its growing Real Assets team. This is an opportunity to work with sophisticated real estate and infrastructure fund structures, taking ownership of fund accounting deliverables while also contributing to team leadership, client management, and operational improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of real estate and infrastructure fund clients Review monthly, quarterly and annual fund accounting deliverables Oversee capital calls, distributions, LP/GP allocations, waterfalls and investor reporting Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP Act as a key contact for clients, auditors and internal stakeholders Supervise and develop junior team members Support fund launches, client onboarding and fund migrations Contribute to technology, process improvement and systems initiatives Requirements 5+ years' experience in fund accounting, real estate accounting, infrastructure accounting or limited partnership accounting CPA qualified or actively pursuing qualification (or international equivalent) Strong understanding of financial statements, partnership accounting and fund structures Previous experience reviewing work and mentoring junior team members Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills Advantageous Experience with Yardi, MRI, Investran or similar platforms Exposure to technology implementations, UAT, process improvement or operational transformation projects Real estate, infrastructure or broader private markets experience
