You’ll start with core accounting and operational responsibilities, but quickly gain exposure to business development, investor relations, financial modeling and forecasting, and the inner workings of a scaling, multi-brand organization. Requirements
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping: AP/AR, invoicing, payment processing
- Perform bank feed matching and monthly account reconciliations
- Process semi-monthly payroll (Wagepoint, Square)
- Maintain accurate financial records across multiple business units
- Prepare financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Get involved with Financial Planning & Analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Support day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency across departments.
- Assist in developing and improving internal processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate operational tasks such as scheduling, resource allocation, and vendor management.
- Maintain organized records, documentation, and filing systems (digital and physical).
- Provide professional written and verbal correspondence with clients, staff, and external partners.
- Assist in onboarding new employees, managing office supplies, and overseeing facility needs.
- Coordinate with leadership to support strategic planning, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Help monitor key operational metrics and flag issues that require attention.
- Coordinate team communications and support cross-department collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Finance, Operations and/or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of office management procedures and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
