About the role
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Business Systems Manager is responsible for leading the product management function across Rogers Foods and Miller Milling. Within this role, the individual will develop deep product knowledge of the Rogers Foods ecosystem and specifically will have comprehensive knowledge of the ERP (D365). The individual will continuously work to move projects forward, to bridge the gap between technology and the business, assessing information technology systems, leading innovation, streamlining systems and addressing business needs. Works with key department stakeholders to translate business needs into end-product solutions.
This is a hybrid role that supports two organizations under the same parent company. While the primary responsibilities of the function will be to support Rogers Foods, the individual will maintain cross-functional capabilities, supporting similar functions and systems at Miller Milling as part of a multi-organizational working group.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead one or more IT Business Analysts/Product Owners. Design and support key systems within our organization(s). Maintain expertise across all business functions and associated applications that our organization requires to run its business

Support a project management discipline that drives continuous delivery using agile methodologies. Ensure projects are described with specific timing and action and that timelines are adhered to

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our current ERP solution at Rogers and Miller (D365 F&O). Become the Subject Matter Expert in Rogers specifically

Develop future leaders and ensure team can support all applications; maintain a redundant support structure
-
Support an integrated and continuously updated core business plan with configuration management database repository (CMDB) for interfacing and tracking all resources for all departments
-
Identify, analyze, resolve, and track systems issues
-
Analyze complex business challenges and determine appropriate IT solutions
-
Gather data and analyze business and user needs
-
Support efforts at Rogers to determine appropriate hardware and software to support client's business goals
-
Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and support of all applications.

Support the development of guidelines and structures that support IT Simplification goals including the streamlining of a new ERP at Rogers
-
Carries out additional job duties, tasks and projects as assigned

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) while performing job duties and tasks

Perform other duties and tasks as required
ERP Ownership:
- Play a key role in projects to improve current processes within Rogers ERP; This includes helping to design solutions that work within the ERP as well as playing a key testing role
- Interface with software vendors and integrators for assisting with trouble shooting problems, scheduling upgrades and researching software options
- Support the Nisshin North American master data management strategy including customers, vendors, items, recipes, etc.
- Oversee security rights within our ERP and other applications where applicable
- Lead individuals who create and modify dashboards, and train others to have basic self-sufficiency, act as an expert, and assist with questions when needed
- Create and maintain the standard process documentation to ensure best practice.
- Carries out additional job duties, tasks and projects as assigned
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) while performing job duties and tasks
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to understand client point of view and respond to their support needs
- Support mindset, empathy and engagement in client support needs
- Proficient in data analysis
- Strong knowledge of project management principles (PMBOK)
- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and associated disciplines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
- Ability to travel up to 20%, including to the US
- Must be able to lift 20lbs. occasionally.
