Twin Motors Dauphin has an immediate opening for an experienced Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our successful dealership. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing vehicle issues and performing repairs.
- Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Learn to inspect and test vehicles to ensure functionality and safety.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling tools and equipment.
- Learn to document work performed and maintain accurate records.
- Attend training sessions and classes to further develop technical skills and knowledge.
- Assist in delivering vehicles to customers and providing basic instruction on vehicle maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Continuous Learning & Improvement:
- We are committed to our employee’s continuous learning and development and as such, training is provided through orientation, self-assessments, coaching sessions and demonstrations with managers.
The Ideal Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy objects, as well as standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Driver's License Mandatory
