Role Title

Regional Sales Director (RSD)

Purpose of role

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for building relationships and supporting sales to achieve agreed upon targets in their designated block of business within the MGA channel.

Job Description Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined territory to generate sales and develop new business
  • Lead by actively prospecting for new sales, as well as establishing long lasting relationships and servicing existing clients
  • Promote products through presentations, seminars and other approaches
  • Provide superior service to ensure positive experiences at all times
  • Able to generate sales, make the right connections, build relationships, sell our solutions, and support implementation and ongoing services
  • Build and execute a sales plan to deliver expected results
  • Identify marketing and sales opportunities and best approaches to close sales
  • Develop and provide regular sales and product training seminars
  • Be the primary contact for escalated support for distributors
  • Other duties as required

Key Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of life insurance business and products
  • Skillful communicator and superior presentation skills
  • LLQP certification
  • High level of integrity
  • Effective interpersonal skills

Salary Range $80,000-$100,000

The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan, results are subject to both individual and company performance.
