This position will be working in our Toronto office within the Private Infrastructure - Client Care team of CBRE Investment Management. The Private Infrastructure business creates long-term value for its fund and separate account clients by sourcing, acquiring and managing high-quality investments and building comprehensive infrastructure portfolios. Today the dedicated team of over 70 professionals in Toronto and
London invest approximately US$9.5 billion on behalf of institutional investors globally.
About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive co-op student to join the Client Care team to support with various capital raising and client servicing activities. Working closely with the Client Care team, the successful candidate will assist with the development and ongoing refinement of client-facing materials, including marketing presentations, pitch decks, and operational due diligence presentations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that these materials effectively communicate our investment strategies, performance, and operational excellence to current and prospective investors. You will also assist in compiling responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), coordinating across business units to compile content, data, and feedback to complete the requests timely and accurately.
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is highly valued, as the role requires both visual storytelling and data-driven analysis to support investor communications. In addition, you will support the team with planning the annual Infrastructure Summit, as well as various strategic initiatives, internal projects, and other ad-hoc requests.
The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative mindset, the ability to take ownership of a task, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling content tailored to institutional audiences.
What You'll Need
- Candidates in their second, third, or fourth year of studies in Commerce, Finance or Business Administration, or in a related Master’s program, with a strong academic record.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, intellectual agility and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledgeable of database management as an asset as well as an aptitude and interest in learning new software applications.
- Excellent technical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Further, you are an ambitious self-starter, a solid team player with a positive attitude and possess high professional and ethical standards.
- You endeavor to perform work beyond what is required at your level and are willing to “roll up your sleeves” in an entrepreneurial environment to get work done as necessary.
- You have a demonstrated ability to be resourceful and persistent in gathering and assessing information and to quickly assimilate knowledge.
