About the role
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Nutrition Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the organization’s Nutrition Program including the preparation of snacks and meals for children and youth. This is achieved in alignment with the core values of BGC Canada as well as focusing on key issues and priorities of our community.
Duties include, but are not limited to purchasing food supplies, preparing daily snacks, cooking meals, and ensuring the kitchen facility is stocked and clean.
Flexibility, organization, and cleaning skills/abilities are necessary for this position. A nutrition coordinator certificate, or similar education, would be an asset.
The position works Monday to Friday; however, hours of work can be negotiable.
Valid Class 5 and personal vehicle required to perform job duties.
Must be bondable and willing to complete a RCMP Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
