Responsible for: Supporting all communication and marketing initiatives at the Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club. As an integral part of our administrative team, you will be responsible for the design and development of Club emails, sales collateral for our membership and food & beverage departments, and the design, maintenance, and administration of our website. You will also facilitate our social media platforms and be called upon to help Management with marketing, promotions, and related projects as needed.

The Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club (“the Club”) is the city’s premier racquets, fitness, and social club; offering exceptional tennis, badminton, squash, fitness and aquatics programming, along with a variety of social events with upscale-casual dining in 3 restaurants.

The Communications & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for helping to facilitate outstanding membership services for over 4,000 members and you are:

• A self-starter! You know what needs to get done and aren't afraid to move onto the next item on your To-Do list.

• Creative with a passion for communications, design, and marketing.

• An excellent communicator with strong oral and written skills.

• An enthusiastic team player.

Job Skills & Requirements:

• Possess solid understanding of multimedia design and experience building files for both print and digital.

• Demonstrate hands-on skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat) & MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience managing social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin, Hootsuite, etc.).

• Basic Understanding of SEO.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Have the ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail.

• Well-groomed, polite and attentive to Members and their guests.

General Responsibilities & Duties:

• Work with the Membership & Marketing Director on the execution of the communications plan for the Club.

• Coordinate the Club’s printing and vendor relationships as they relate to communications and marketing collateral.

• Strategize and manage all social media content including regular posts, seasonal campaigns, and special promotions.

• Compile, analyze, and present data/create reports.

• Miscellaneous administrative tasks as required.

• May be required to work occasional evenings and/or weekends for special events.

The position is full-time and the salary will be anywhere from $50,000 to $60,000 per annum based on experience. We offer a full benefits plan and this is considered a salaried position within the Club.
