Job Description
St. Francis of Assisi Elementary is looking to add a Full-Time Education Assistant to our Primary Team. Successful experience working with primary-aged children (ages 4-8) and an ability to work under the direction of the classroom teacher is ideal. The position also requires the candidate to show initiative and help support the running of a primary classroom. About Catholic Independent Schools Vancouver Archdiocese (CISVA)
The Catholic Independent Schools of Vancouver Archdiocese are group one independent schools, receiving 50% operational funding from the ministry of education. All schools teach the prescribed ministry of education curriculum. Teachers are paid according to the qualifications and years of experience. Teachers are also eligible for the Group Benefits Program that provides medical, dental, other extended health benefits, plus a defined contribution (DC) Group Pension Plan.
Teachers interested in making a career with CISVA should apply to the Superintendent's Office. Support staff, including Education Assistants, should apply directly to the individual schools.
