Your Impact:
As a Senior Pricing Analyst, part of the Pricing Strategy& Operations Team, you will help lead both the operational and strategic aspects of data management, as well aiding in the evaluation, development and implementation of pricing& packaging strategies based on current business and competitive environment. You will be part of a global team, that ensures and governs key master data within OpenText is maintained, including material and financial data. With your expertise and passion for data management and pricing strategy, you'll help lead improvements and develop and manage policies to optimize pricing data and information assets.
What The Role Offers:
- Manage and improve a pricing data governance framework focusing on data quality improvement and sensitive data protection.
- Lead meetings with critical Stakeholders – Finance, Operations, IT - to align data needs with operational planning.
- Provide insight into critical business decisions around material data, working closely with the senior teams to answer and solve pressing issues.
- Gathering, structuring, and analyzing data; providing recommendations by presenting to management, process owners, and business partners.
- Functional lead representing Pricing on Divestitures, Mergers, and Acquisitions for migrated master data; Customer, Vendor, Material’s and Finance.
- Pricing strategy expertise to optimize pricing and packaging across a broad range of product types and structures.
- Coordinating pricing activity, including gathering requirements, generating reports on pricing and sales data, running financial models and presenting outputs, internal pricing communications, and managing contributing stakeholders where applicable.
- Working on data analytics to review, analyze, and synthesize insights on pricing data to act as feedback on pricing& packaging optimization.
- Maintaining pricing tools and data in Salesforce.com, price books, and supplemental documents.
What You Need to Succeed:
- At least 8 years of experience in a major technology organization, with expertise in large-scale data management, operations, and governance.
- Strong knowledge of industry-leading data quality and data protection management practices.
- Experience with data governance practices and understanding of business and technology issues related to managing enterprise information.
- 5+ years of experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems for managing master data, as well as experience with Salesforce.com.
- 3+ years of experience in the development of standard data analyses, reports, and dashboards.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Management.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and conduct business analysis& data analysis to support projects and/or problem hypotheses.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to anticipate issues and challenges, and prioritize effectively with little supervision.
- Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent Excel and PowerBI skills.
