About the role

Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Monitor instruments on one or more chemical formulation units. Clean and maintain work space. Measure, weigh and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards. Record production information. Start up, shut down and troubleshoot equipment. Take samples. Perform routine chemical and physical tests of products. Operate equipment from a control room or from control consoles located near the production units. Adjust processing machines and equipment. Monitor reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with safety procedures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
