Position : RPN – Clinic-Based Role with Optional Leadership Opportunities

Type : Full-Time

Location : MCI Oakville, Ontario

Shifts : Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Weekends may be required)

Salary Range: $24.00 - $29.00 CAD per hour

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide front-line clinical and administrative support in a busy primary care setting. This is an ideal opportunity for an RPN who enjoys patient care and collaborative work with physicians and administrative staff.

While management experience is not required, this role offers future growth potential for those interested in leadership or clinic coordination.

What You Will Be Doing Clinical (Nursing) Duties

  • Provide direct patient care support, including vitals, immunizations, ECGs, wound care, and specimen collection, within RPN scope.
  • Prepare rooms and assist physicians during exams and procedures.
  • Maintain clinical documentation, sterilize equipment, and uphold infection prevention standards.
  • Support patients with post-visit care coordination and health education as needed.

Administrative (MOA) Support

  • Answer phones, greet patients, book appointments, and manage patient flow.
  • Assist with referrals, billing, and EMR documentation (e.g., Accuro or OSCAR).
  • Help ensure smooth front-desk operations and a positive patient experience.

Optional Clinic Leadership (For Those Interested)

  • Opportunities exist for those who wish to develop skills in clinic operations, including staff coordination, inventory management, and KPI tracking.
  • Coaching and support will be provided for individuals exploring management or supervisory growth paths.

You Have

  • Current RPN license in good standing (Ontario or BC).
  • Experience in a clinical environment (family practice, urgent care, or specialty clinic preferred).
  • Excellent patient interaction and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with EMRs (e.g., OSCAR or Accuro), Microsoft Office tools.
  • Adaptability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
