About the role
Summary: This position requires completion of daily service and repair related activities required by customers to maintain full functionality of their IBAK CCTV equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing product issues and creating a plan to repair products to an operational level again.
Responsibilities
- Complete repairs to IBAK Camera and related equipment keeping quality at the forefront and performing efficiently and staying conscious of costs
- Accurately document each repair by using internal software to log repairs including diagnosis, repairs made, inventory used, and time spent on task
- Update customers throughout the repair process including diagnosis, repair progress, and options for repairs or replacement if needed
- Maintain communications with the companies whose products we repair for continual updates of processes, procedures, and technical bulletins
- Attend training events as needed in the US
- Coordinate with Parts Manager to keep an appropriate supply of repair parts and equipment
- Assist in sourcing required equipment for repair work
- Maintain an orderly and clean working environment
- Perform all other duties as required by management Job Skills:
- Able to read and understand equipment diagrams and assist customers with parts identification and ordering
- Eager to engage in continuous learning and meet training requirements
- Must have strong organization skills with an emphasis on accuracy
- Must have proficient computer skills and an understanding of Office products and CRM programs
- Maintain proper telephone etiquette
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a team to accomplish overall corporate goals Beneficial Skills:
- Experience repairing computer and camera equipment
- Experience soldering Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, walk, squat, climb during the course of a shift
- Must be able to safely lift 75 pounds
- Able to pass drug test/background check
- Must have a current and valid passport and be able to travel across borders without restrictions for training events
- Must be authorized to work within Canada Benefits:

- All technical tools for repairs are provided by the company for use
- $25-35/hr. depending on prior skill and experience
