Position

Head of Growth and Marketing

Role Description

We're looking for an entrepreneurial growth leader to build and execute the marketing and growth strategy across Varon's portfolio of consumer brands.

This is not a traditional marketing position. You'll be responsible for helping scale multiple brands through creator marketing, social media, community building, retail activation, influencer partnerships, digital acquisition, content production, and data-driven growth initiatives.

Working directly with senior leadership, you'll build scalable marketing systems that support both emerging and established brands while helping shape the long-term growth strategy of the business.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building from the ground up, and wants to play a meaningful role in growing one of North America's most ambitious consumer brand platforms.

Success in this role won't be measured by followers or impressions alone—it will be measured by brand growth, customer engagement, retail velocity, and measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall growth strategy across Varon's portfolio of brands. Develop integrated marketing campaigns spanning digital, retail, experiential, and partnership channels. Own social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Reddit, and emerging platforms. Build and manage influencer, creator, athlete, and ambassador programs. Develop scalable content systems capable of producing high-quality content across multiple brands. Manage photographers, videographers, designers, editors, agencies, freelancers, and creative partners. Plan and execute product launches, retailer support campaigns, and geo-targeted marketing initiatives. Oversee paid media strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, and other digital platforms. Build community engagement strategies that create long-term customer loyalty. Collaborate with sales and distribution partners to support retail growth and improve sell-through. Identify partnership opportunities with athletes, creators, events, organizations, and strategic brands. Implement AI-powered tools and workflows to improve creative production and marketing efficiency. Track marketing performance through dashboards, KPIs, and analytics, continuously optimizing campaigns based on measurable business results. Build and mentor a high-performing internal marketing team as the company grows. Develop and oversee annual marketing budgets, campaign performance, and return on marketing investment.

Qualifications

Required 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, brand marketing, digital marketing, or related leadership roles. Demonstrated success growing consumer-facing brands. Experience leading both organic and paid digital marketing strategies. Strong understanding of creator marketing, influencer partnerships, and community building. Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional creative teams. Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with the ability to build brands through compelling content and campaigns. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate marketing into measurable business growth. Experience building marketing processes, systems, and scalable operations. Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities simultaneously. Highly entrepreneurial with a bias toward execution and continuous experimentation.

Preferred

  • Experience scaling high-growth consumer brands, preferably in beverage, wellness, sports, lifestyle, or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
  • Experience with companies such as Prime, Liquid Death, Celsius, Gymshark, Red Bull, Monster, Feastables, Bucked Up, or other high-growth consumer brands is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong understanding of creator marketing, brand storytelling, content strategy, and community building.
  • Experience supporting retail launches, national distribution, and integrated marketing campaigns. · Proficiency with modern marketing platforms, paid media, analytics, and AI-powered marketing tools.
