About the role

We are supporting the delivery of the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Nuclear Project at Darlington , one of Canada’s flagship clean energy initiatives.

The Revit Designer / Draftsman will be responsible for producing high-quality 3D models and technical drawings using Autodesk Revit in support of engineering and construction activities for the SMR nuclear facility. The role involves close collaboration with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure accurate and compliant design deliverables.

  • Develop, modify, and maintain Revit models and detailed construction drawings in accordance with project specifications and nuclear standard
  • Prepare layouts, sections, details, and schedules for structural, architectural, or MEP systems (depending on discipline)
  • Coordinate Revit models with multiple engineering disciplines to identify and resolve clashes
  • Ensure all drawings comply with nuclear quality assurance (QA) , safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Incorporate engineering comments and revisions in a timely and controlled manne
  • Support design reviews, constructability reviews, and model audit
  • Maintain proper document control and version management within the project environment

  • Diploma or degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Designer / Draftsman on large industrial or infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience on nuclear, power generation, oil & gas, or other highly regulated facilities
  • Proven track record of working on BIM-based projects using Autodesk Revit
  • Experience leading design packages or acting as a discipline BIM lead is a strong asset
  • Familiarity with Canadian nuclear industry practices (OPG, CNSC, CSA standards) is preferred
  • Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit
