Job Title: Security Site Supervisor - Industrial
**Job Type:**Full Time, Permanent
Starting payis $29.81/hour.
**Schedule:**Monday-Friday 1000 - 1800
Position Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking a professional and motivatedSecurity Site Supervisor - Industrialto lead operations at an industrial site located on the outskirts of Fort Saskatchewan. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced security professional who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and is passionate about team development, operational excellence, and client service.
Special Requirements:
-Due to the safety requirements - must clear drug testing -Due to PPE equipment, must maintain no facial hair (beards and mustache) -Clean criminal record
Key Responsibilities:
- Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
- Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding the performance of their duties.
- Cross-training officers to make them more versatile and run site efficiently.
- Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
- Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under their direct supervision.
- Oversee on-site training for security officer assigned to his/her shift.
- Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift.
- Complete day to day operations such as: mobile patrols, foot patrols, and audits.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. -Alberta Class 5 (Non-GDL) Driver's License, clean driver's abstract -Alberta Security License
- Professional attitude and appearance -Must have least 1 year of proven supervisory experience
Key Competencies
-**Communication:**Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. -**Organizational Skills:**Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. -**Technical Proficiency:**Familiarity with security systems and technologies is beneficial. -**Problem-Solving:**Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions. -Proficiencyin Microsoft office (excel, word and power-point)
