As the Parts Advisor, you support the identification and coordination of parts to all internal and external customers. You are competent, trustworthy, and treat customers with respect and like a partner. You make a substantial contribution towards the efficiency of the Parts Department and promote the brand.

Job Duties
- Assist customers by phone or over the counter offering consistent and high-level service
- Process daily customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions
- Determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped
- Oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, organizing, storing, and issuing of goods
- Ensure that shipments are prepared for delivery and delivered in a timely manner
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via the appropriate computer program
- Provide the necessary information to the Warranty Department to allow prompt filing of parts warranties
- Assist in preparing for and counting physical inventory
- Process a variety of reports in written and electronic form (e.g. requisitions, paperwork, reports, etc.) for disseminating information and/or materials to appropriate parties
- Receive stock and non-stock items and ensure that specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct
- Aid technicians in determining parts required for repairs
Requirements
- High school diploma
- One or two years of related experience as a Parts Counter Staff
- Automotive parts knowledge a definite asset
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- High attention to detail in all areas of work
- Good organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Overtime as required
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds occasionally
Hours of Work
Full-Time: Tuesday- Thursday 8:00 AM-5:30 PM, Fridays 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM, & Saturdays 8:00 AM- 3:00 PM

South Trail Kia will be opening its doors on October 1st. South Trail Kia will be the first dealership to open in Calgary’s newest “South Trail Auto Mall” located on 130th Ave SE – just east of Deerfoot trail.
At 46,000 square feet, South Trail Kia will be the largest Kia dealership in Canada. It will house a 15 car showroom, 20 service and 6 detail bays.
