General Summary
The Analyst, Sales Incentives & Planning is responsible for developing, evaluating, and optimizing incentive programs that drive sales growth, profitability, and strategic business objectives. This role delivers data-driven insights, analyzes market trends, and works closely with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Distribution) to design effective, customer-focused incentive structures.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Program Design & Planning
Support the development of sales incentive programs aligned with business goals. Prepare presentation materials for monthly incentive review meetings. Provide recommendations on incentive strategies based on market conditions, competitive benchmarks, and historical performance. Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure incentive programs support revenue targets and strategic priorities. Send incentive program communications to stakeholders and prepare files for Kia.ca and internal portals.
Reporting & Insights
Build dashboards and KPI reports to track incentive performance by region, product line, and channel. Prepare executive summaries highlighting insights, key findings, and recommended actions. Analyze RV, competitor incentives and market trends to identify opportunities for program enhancement. Utilize analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, etc.) to support modeling, reporting, and data management. Conduct variance analysis comparing forecasted versus actual incentive impacts.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field. 3-5 years business related experience in incentive planning, sales operations, financial analysis, or similar analytical roles, ideally in the automotive industry Strong verbal/written communication skills Strong Excel/Word/Power Point skills Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced environment Attention to detail and deadline oriented Familiarity with SAP an asset Bilingual in French and English is an asset
