About the Role

The Administrative Assistant provides organizational, clerical, and operational support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day business operations. This role is central to maintaining efficiency across scheduling, communication, documentation, and office coordination.

Responsibilities

Office Administration — Manage daily office operations, maintain supplies, coordinate maintenance, and support facility needs. Calendar Management — Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel; coordinate logistics and prepare meeting materials. Communication Handling — Draft, review, and route emails, memos, and internal communications. Document Management — Prepare reports, maintain filing systems (digital and physical), and ensure document accuracy. Data Entry & Reporting — Update databases, track information, and generate routine reports. Customer & Visitor Support — Greet visitors, answer calls, and provide frontline support with professionalism. Expense & Procurement Support — Assist with expense reports, vendor coordination, and purchase orders. Team Support — Provide administrative assistance to departments, managers, and project teams as needed.

Qualifications

Education Requirements — High school diploma required; post‑secondary certificate or diploma in administration preferred. Technical Skills — Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with office equipment and digital tools. Communication Skills — Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Organizational Skills — Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Attention to Detail — High accuracy in documentation and data handling. Professionalism — Discretion, reliability, and a customer‑service mindset.

Required Skills

4–7 years of experience in administrative support, executive assistance, project coordination, or operations roles. Experience in a mid-sized organization (100–300 employees) for a meaningful portion of your career. Demonstrated ability to drive execution in fast-paced, scaling environments (SaaS, technology, healthcare, or professional services preferred).

Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Project Management or a related field required. MBA or master’s degree in business strongly preferred.

Pay range and compensation package

Location: Onsite – 5 days per week (Mississauga) Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 Equity: Eligible to participate in BoomerangFX Stock Option Plan after 6 months Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, Free Parking, Paid vacation, Paid fitness membership
