How You’ll Make An Impact
- Act as a second line of defense in our global Cyber Defense Center.
- Lead technical investigations of complex cybersecurity incidents.
- Use advanced SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Collaborate with global Incident Managers and Threat Hunters.
- Apply forensic techniques to uncover attacker tactics and techniques.
- Improve incident response playbooks and automation scripts.
- Produce post-incident reports with strategic recommendations.
- Track emerging threats and vulnerabilities proactively.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in Security Operations, Incident Response, or Digital Forensics.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, and SOAR platforms.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and adversary tactics.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for continuous learning and cybersecurity excellence.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
