Job Description
Salary Range: $52,000-$57,000 gross annually, based on previous experience
As the Assistant Laundry Manager, your care and attention to detail in our Laundry operation will ensure exceptional standards for our hotel lines - you will take pride in the role you play facilitating a memorable guest stay. In this role you will support the hotel by:
- Ensure the upkeep of all Laundry/Valet areas in respect to complete care, cleanliness and maintenance
- Train and supervise all employees within Laundry/Valet department
- Monitor health and safety regulations and W.H.I.M.S. training
- General office administration, which includes town contracts, payroll, scheduling, ordering supplies and inventory control
- Performance evaluation of all Laundry/Valet colleagues
- Conduct rooms and food and beverage linen inventories and in conjunction with the Rooms Division and Food and Beverage Division Managers and place orders to ensure adequate supplies based on business levels
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning products an asset
- Valid Alberta driver’s license required, ability to drive standard vehicle an asset
- Able to work flexible hours over a 24 hour period
Additional Information
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
