You as an Equipment Mechanic will
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, gas and diesel systems.
- Maintain and service equipment including skid steers, mini-excavators, telehandlers, scissor lifts, forklifts, UTVs, generators and small equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Travel to job sites for service calls and field repairs.
- Determine whether equipment is safe to return to service.
- Complete work orders and electronic service documentation accurately and on time.
- Communicate equipment status and repair requirements to Operations, Service teams and customers.
- Maintain the assigned service vehicle, tools and equipment in a clean and professional condition.
- Assist with parts and equipment pickup or delivery as required.
- Follow company and job-site safety requirements.
Is this the right role for you?
- 3–5 years of experience repairing construction equipment or similar.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, gas and diesel systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
- Ability to read service manuals, electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
- Strong communication, organizational and customer-service skills.
- Ability to complete electronic work orders using a computer, tablet or mobile device.
- Must provide standard hand tools; specialty tools will be provided.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- The hourly rate for this role is $35.00 - $45.00.
